The “Digital Summer School” training program, implemented through the joint collaboration of the Innovation and Digital Development Agency (IDDA) and the Institute of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, with support from Sumgait State University and the Sumgait Innovation Hub, has officially concluded.

As part of the program, 100 school students from general education institutions in Sumgait, including members of the “ZƏFƏR” Public Union for Support to Families of Martyrs, participated in a month-long intensive training in robotics and programming.

During the final stage of the program, participants showcased the knowledge and skills they had gained over the course of the month by presenting their team projects. In total, 18 teams presented their work, and based on the evaluation of the jury panel, 4 teams were selected as winners.

The official part of the event featured speeches by representatives of the organizing institutions. Following the presentations, the winning teams were awarded prizes, and certificates were distributed to all participants.

The main goal of the project was to foster digital skills among young people in the country, increase interest in technology, and support the development of future innovation professionals.

It should be noted that the graduation ceremony of the “Digital Summer School” was held as part of the Sumgait Cup.
