The closing ceremony of the Certification and Accreditation Program for Innovation Ecosystem Players, organized in collaboration between the Innovation and Digital Development Agency (IDDA), the Global Innovation Institute, and Code Academy, has been successfully held. The event brought together representatives of the innovation ecosystem, universities, acceleration and incubation centers, as well as the corporate sector.
In his opening speech, Rashad Khaligov, Deputy Chairman of IDDA, provided detailed information about the Agency’s activities aimed at developing human capital in building the innovation ecosystem. He emphasized that IRIA, in partnership with leading global innovation centers, has implemented international certification, mentor, and trainer development programs. More than 200 experts have participated in such development initiatives, and over 30 ecosystem members have gained valuable experience through international programs such as Founders Academy with the Agency’s support.
Highlighting the importance of the program carried out with the Global Innovation Institute, Mr. Khaligov noted:
“Through this program, our local experts have gained advanced knowledge and experience in applying innovation across various fields such as education, the public sector, innovation, acceleration, incubation programs, and the private sector — as well as in designing and evaluating innovation strategies and processes.”
During the event, representatives from the Global Innovation Institute and Code Academy spoke about the program’s implementation and outcomes. This was followed by project presentations from participants who had received their certificates.
It should be noted that, alongside professionals, organizations engaged in innovation activities also participated in this program and received official global accreditation upon its completion. In total, 38 specialists earned 45 international certificates, while 8 ecosystem players were accredited.
Thus, the program not only enables the international recognition of individuals but also of organizations. By obtaining international certifications, local experts strengthen their knowledge and expertise, while companies and institutions enhance their quality standards in line with global benchmarks.
