Representatives of the subordinate institutions of the MINCOM and AZCON met with students of the Azerbaijan Cybersecurity Center

On October 3, 2025, a meeting was held at the Azerbaijan Cybersecurity Center (ACC) with representatives of the subordinate institutions of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport (MDDT) and the Azerbaijan Transport and Communications Holding (AZCON). The meeting brought together around 35 participants, including heads of Human Resources departments and cybersecurity specialists from various organizations.

The event began with opening remarks by Renat Rustamov, Head of the Human Resources Management Department at MDDT, and Shahmar Hajiyehyaev, Head of the Information Security Department at the Innovation and Digital Development Agency (IDDA).

Later, Ilkin Azizov, Deputy Head of the Information Security Department at IDDA, delivered a comprehensive presentation on the infrastructure and activities of the Azerbaijan Cybersecurity Center. The meeting concluded in an interactive format, addressing questions from participants.

The primary purpose of the meeting was to introduce the activities of the Azerbaijan Cybersecurity Center, as well as to provide insights into the current status of its students and graduates.

It should be noted that the Azerbaijan Cybersecurity Center, jointly established by the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, the Innovation and Digital Development Agency, and Israel’s Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, has so far produced 380 graduates, with 60 students currently continuing their studies in the 6th cohort. During the program, students receive hands-on training from international experts in Blue Team (defense), Red Team (offense), and Purple Team (combined) disciplines, gaining practical knowledge of the latest strategies, technologies, and innovations in the field of cybersecurity.
