On May 6, project presentations of the second cohort graduates were held at the “Vistar” Center of Excellence, established through the partnership of the Innovation and Digital Development Agency (IDDA), the Azerbaijan Space Agency, Israel Aerospace Industries, and the Holon Institute of Technology.
A total of 30 participants graduated from the second cohort, 37% of whom were women. Teams presented their projects across 6 different startups.
Delivering the opening speech, Farid Osmanov, Chairman of the Board of IDDA, emphasized that the “Vistar” Center of Excellence plays a significant role in developing innovative human capital in the country. He noted that the Center stands as a symbol of Israel–Azerbaijan technological cooperation and offers unique opportunities to learn advanced practices. Participants benefit from working with leading experts and receiving mentorship throughout the program.
Following the opening remarks, graduates presented their projects, showcasing products and services developed based on artificial intelligence and space technologies.
It should be noted that the “Vistar” Center of Excellence launched its programs in Human Capital Development and Satellite Innovations and Applications in November 2025. The first cohort graduated 32 participants in January 2026. The Center aims to enhance knowledge and skills in fields such as innovation, artificial intelligence, energy, and space technologies, while supporting startup development and facilitating their access to international markets.
