“Purple Team” Training Launched for the First Time in Azerbaijan.

The Azerbaijan Cybersecurity Center, operating under the Innovation and Digital Development Agency (IDDA), has organized “Purple Team” training sessions to enhance the knowledge and skills of cybersecurity specialists in both the private and public sectors. Notably, this is the first time such training is being conducted in Azerbaijan.

The “Purple Team” training is designed for individuals with a minimum of two years of experience in the field of cybersecurity. The courses are conducted by international experts and present an excellent opportunity for specialists who have focused on “Red Team” (offensive) or “Blue Team” (defensive) roles.

The primary objective of the training is to develop the highest-level knowledge and skills among cybersecurity professionals in the country.

The training sessions, delivered in a “bootcamp” format, began on September 30 and will last for one month. Each cohort consists of two groups, with training sessions held for two weeks per group, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

This initiative aims to establish a continuous training program in this area, with plans to expand the training to cybersecurity specialists in other sectors in the future.
