Azerbaijani startups participating in the “GOAL” program, organized through the partnership of the Innovation and Digital Development Agency (IDDA) and Plug and Play Tech Center, have held meetings in Silicon Valley. As part of this, a meeting took place between Azerbaijani startups and Saed Amidi, CEO of Plug and Play Tech Center.

During the meeting, discussions focused on startup development, investment opportunities, access to international markets, and integration into the Silicon Valley ecosystem. Azerbaijani startups also presented their solutions and products.

Participants of the program are also holding meetings with various teams across different направления within Plug and Play Tech Center. Next week, the startups will take the stage at the Global Startup Showcase during the Silicon Valley Summit, and will also present their products to an international audience in exhibition areas.

The program also includes participation in events and company visits such as Hyundai Innovation Day, LinkedIn, Odoo, and the San Jose AI Center of Excellence Expo. It is worth noting that the Azerbaijani startup Pionero AI won the “Shark Tank” session and earned the opportunity to present to investors at the Global Startup Showcase.

Overall, 6 Azerbaijani startups have been selected to participate in the “GOAL” program: Glacies Biome, Enduropy, Bonfi; Recepta, Pixelfork, and Pionero AI. They are currently participating in investor sessions, discussions with corporate representatives, pitch simulations, and international networking events.

The goal of the “GOAL” program is to support the global recognition of the local innovation ecosystem, promote Azerbaijani startups on international platforms, and showcase the country’s innovation potential. Through the program, startups gain international experience, present their products and services to a global audience, and access potential investment and partnership opportunities, while also strengthening their skills in pitching, business development, corporate collaboration, and entering global markets.
