A delegation comprising representatives of the Innovation and Digital Development Agency (IDDA) and Technopark residents participated in the 28th “ITCN Asia 2026” international technology exhibition and conference held in Karachi, Pakistan. The main objectives of the visit were to present Azerbaijan’s digital government experience, innovation ecosystem, cybersecurity capabilities, and the products and services of Azerbaijani technology companies to an international audience, as well as to expand opportunities for technological cooperation, investment, and ICT exports with markets in South and Central Asia and the Middle East.
As part of the exhibition, Azerbaijan’s National Pavilion showcased digital solutions such as “SİMA İmza,” “mygov,” “mygov ID,” “digital.bridge,” and RSD, as well as the country’s innovation and Technopark ecosystem and the workforce development model of the Azerbaijan Cybersecurity Center. Foreign technology companies were also provided with information on the existing Technopark opportunities and incentive mechanisms for operating in Azerbaijan.
During the visit, the Azerbaijani delegation held meetings with representatives of government institutions responsible for digital transformation and technology in Pakistan, regional IT associations, international investors, telecommunications operators, banks, and cybersecurity and software companies. The meetings focused on Azerbaijan’s digital development and innovation ecosystem, digital government solutions, research and development activities, ICT exports, and potential areas of cooperation.
Technopark residents represented at the National Pavilion from Azerbaijan also presented their technological solutions to an international audience. The companies showcased AI- and machine learning-based scoring, microfinance, fintech, systems integration, software, corporate IT infrastructure, database management, “Big Data” analytics, and data management services.
Within the framework of the event, discussions were held on Azerbaijani technology companies’ access to the South Asian market, establishing commercial partnerships with foreign companies, investment opportunities, and Azerbaijan’s potential as a regional technology hub.
It should be noted that “ITCN Asia” is one of South Asia’s rapidly developing technology exhibitions and serves as an international platform bringing together government institutions, technology companies, investors, and representatives of the telecommunications and financial sectors. In 2026, the event was held from September 22 to 24 at the Karachi Expo Centre.
