The next “Community Day” event was held for graduates of the Azerbaijan Cybersecurity Center (ACC), operating under the Innovation and Digital Development Agency (IDDA).
The main objective of the event was to promote knowledge and experience sharing among ACC graduates, discuss the development prospects of the cybersecurity ecosystem, and strengthen professional connections.
The meeting, held in Shamakhi, brought together graduates from different training cohorts of the ACC, the Center’s faculty and staff, as well as information security professionals. Representatives of the Innovation and Digital Development Agency, the Azerbaijan Cybersecurity Center, and the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology delivered speeches at the event.
As part of the “Community Day”, a presentation titled “ACC Community: Achievements, Impact and Vision” was held, highlighting the Center’s contributions to the development of information security, key achievements, and future areas of activity. The ACC’s new website was also presented, and participants were introduced to its main features and services.
The event continued with a panel discussion titled “Building the Future of Cybersecurity Together”. Participants exchanged views on the development prospects and current challenges of cybersecurity, the importance of strengthening human capital, knowledge and experience sharing, as well as the role of professional communities in advancing the cybersecurity ecosystem.
The event concluded with various games and team-building activities aimed at fostering cooperation among graduates and contributing to the development of the ACC community.
It should be noted that the Azerbaijan Cybersecurity Center was established through a joint initiative of the Innovation and Digital Development Agency and the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. To date, a total of 420 cybersecurity professionals have graduated from the Center across seven training cohorts. Alongside training highly qualified professionals, the ACC continues its initiatives to strengthen connections among graduates, promote knowledge and experience sharing, and foster the development of a professional cybersecurity community.
