Training sessions on “Digital Literacy and Cyber Awareness” were held in Bilasuvar at the initiative of the Bilasuvar District Executive Authority and organized by the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, the Innovation and Digital Development Agency (IDDA), and the National Artificial Intelligence Center. The primary objective of the training was to enhance the digital competencies of civil servants, strengthen their knowledge in cybersecurity, and promote the effective use of modern technological tools. More than 40 representatives of various government institutions operating in the Bilasuvar district participated in the sessions.

The event was opened by Faiq Gurbatov, Head of the Bilasuvar District Executive Authority. It was emphasized in the speeches that digital transformation is not merely technological modernization, but a broader process aimed at improving the transparency, efficiency, and quality of services provided to citizens and businesses. Accelerating digital development within public institutions, implementing innovative approaches, and strengthening information security were identified as priority areas.

During the training, participants were provided with comprehensive information on the key components of digital literacy, digital tools used in modern work environments, and the principles of their secure use, along with practical recommendations. In addition, a dedicated cybersecurity and data protection session addressed security requirements when handling documents, as well as the key tools and principles applied to protect information resources and systems from cyber risks.

As part of the training delivered by the National Artificial Intelligence Center, participants were introduced to practical applications of artificial intelligence tools in document management, data analysis, and efficient time management. The sessions also explored how artificial intelligence can serve as a “digital assistant” for civil servants, expand analytical capabilities in decision-making processes, and enhance overall productivity.

The Innovation and Digital Development Agency plans to continue implementing awareness and training initiatives across all regions of the country to accelerate digital development, enhance the digital skills of civil servants and citizens, and expand knowledge in the fields of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.
